Craft Schedule Changes/Additional Classes

Hey Craftletes!

We're making some exciting changes to our schedule to bring you more options to maximize your fitness. The following changes will begin next week.

Mon, Tues and Thur: The 6:15 PM class will now be Weightlifting and a Strength combo class. In addition to Weightlifting we will have programming to gain strength in the Squats, Deadlift, Bench and Strict Press. If you're looking to increase your CrossFit total, want to work on a strength weakness or simply want to get swole, we can help. The Wed and Fri 6:15 PM class will remain a CrossFit class.

Sat: The 9 AM class will now be a Team/Partner WOD hour. We will have a partner WOD programmed for this hour for those interested. Not intersted? No worries. We still have open gym and you're welcome do your thing.

We hope to see you all in class and we welcome your feedback.

Daily programming and workout tracking now on SugarWOD!

Hi, Craftletes!

Continuing our efforts to help you get the most out of your training, our gym is adopting a new workout tracking tool, SugarWOD.

SugarWOD creates a simple way for all athletes to track their workout results and prepare for workouts using the Android and iOS mobile apps (visit the links to download it on your phone).

Workouts will be posted on the SugarWOD app at 8pm the night before as usual. You can also check workouts on the CrossFit Craft website by heading to the Workout of the Day menu tab or clicking the "WODs" button.

Also, note that we have formed a "super community" with our sister gym, CrossFit 4982 and we're thrilled to be able to track progress as all athletes throw down together!

Workout #1 is RUN FORREST, RUN

RUN FORREST, RUN

This workout will be held on the Track

16 Minute AMRAP

400m Run/5 Cluster and 5 Burpee Relay

  • Clusters are with 2 dumbbells (50# men/35# women)

At 3–2–1 GO, Partner A runs a 400m lap around the track while Partner B completes 5 clusters + 5 burpees. Once Partner A returns from their 400m run and Partner B has completed their clusters and burpees, they must tag. Then Partner B runs 400m while Partner A completes 5 clusters + 5 burpees.

The event will be scored as total points accumulated in 16 minutes. Each 400m run is 100 points. There are no points for running anything less than a full 400m lap. Each cluster or burpee completed is 1 point.

Example: If your team ran eight 400m laps and partner B returned from the eigth 400m lap in time to tag their partner and complete 5 Clusters + 1 burpee, their team would score 886 points.
